Since December 1999, David Haslingden has led the way at National Geographic Channels International as CEO. His remit expanded in 2001, when he assumed a similar role at Fox International Channels, and again in 2007 as he took on National Geographic Channel US. Mr. Haslingden now oversees NGC US and all NGCI channels in the US, Europe, Asia, India, Australia, the Middle East, Canada, Latin America and Africa – more than 270 million homes in 167 countries, in 34 languages. As CEO of NGCI, NGC US and FIC, he aims to further integrate network operations and leverage global resources to maximize performance, and continue to grow the brand on all fronts.
